May 1916

This phot appears to date from about May 1916, ie after the Easter Rising (Lt Neilan and Sgt Burke of B company were killed in the Rising and are not in this photo) and CW Grant is still a 2nd Lt (he was promoted Lt before the Regt went to France)
The annotations are those of C W Grant, and of the names I can make out. Certainly the offoicers had all gone by early 1917
- 2/Lt W J Mount - taken prisoner by the Germans in 13 Oct 1916
- 2/Lt D O'M Leahy - evacuated sick to England 27 Nov 1916
- Capt L S N Palmer - evacuated to England on 23 Oct 1916
- 2/Lt C W Grant - evacuated sick to England 28 Feb 1917
- RSM March - would appear to be RSM Frederick Marsh from Medal card enlisted 26 Oct 1914, discharged 12 Sept 1917
