4777 soldiers of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers died during WW1 (269 officers and 4508 WOs, NCOs and men). 314 of the RDF deaths were in the 10th Battalion. As an indication of the diversity of the regiment, 28% of the Dublin Fusiliers who were killed were not Irish.
